The bill (Reg. No. 2327) suggests establishing the principles of functioning of the Insurance Compensation Fund under life insurance contracts, the main aim of which is to ensure functioning of the system of insurance compensation under life insurance contracts, in case of assuror insolvency.
The bill suggests establishing the Fund in the legal-organizational form of a specialized institution, performing functions in the sphere of insurance compensation under life insurance contracts. The Fund is an economically independent and non-profitable institution.
The bill provides funding sources of the Fund.
The joining fee is established at the level of UAH 20 thousand.
It was stressed that the bill was refined with consideration of remarks and suggestions made during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on February 2013.
